Hey nineteen! WHOA, how could that possibly be?? But it’s true! 

And how cool is it, that nineteen years in, The Refreshed Home’s core design and staging client has remained the same: People who know that by changing/bettering their space, they will change/better their lives.

Most can do the work, or manage the process with people they hire. All want more from the experience. Not just a look, or hitting a budget or deadline. They want a vision and a plan. They want to understand and participate.

This brand-new client serendipitously kicked off my anniversary week. They had already moved out of their townhouse, leaving it clean, freshly painted, and quite empty. They called me when they saw this was not the best look for the shorter and colder days ahead.

We’re amping up their great outdoor space with some white lights and a fire pit. Then ‘shopping’ at their, and their friend’s home for art, tabletop, and other pieces that can easily be brought back, to add warmth, depth, and personality. Yes, this is home staging.  It’s normal, logical, and practical work in a fun and collaborative setting. And it’s gonna be great!

So meantime, muchas smooches to those who’ve had my back and helped me get to nineteen years. But especially to those who’ve trusted me with their hopes and dreams, along with their tenderest place-their home.
