5407 Water View Drive  is a sweet 2 BR 1 BA house lake house in Granbury Texas.

Poised on the shore of Lake Granbury, its a small town on the upswing.

There’s a front and back porch, a double carport, plus it’s furnished. A little less than an hour south of the Dallas-Fort Worth area, it’s a nice little getaway.

Oh…and it quickly got an offer, and closed recently for about 6% over ask. So why are thousands of people all over the country STILL looking at 5407 Water View Drive?

Well, take a look, you tell me.

Was it the rustic beams? The fireplace, or double vanity? HA! If you’re like me, chances are good you’re now asking yourself …was there a fireplace? Did I see a bathroom?

With about $70 bucks, a little nerve and a great sense of fun, the listing agent made all the grownups in the room notice 5407 Water View Drive, smile, and think WOW. It also made the agent so busy he could only personally respond to my email if I was “with Ellen’s, or Jimmy’s people” .  ANYWAY-

This is one of my recent favorites, but not a shot I had any part of.  Shot the day of that last crazy snowstorm in April when we were all jonesing for warmer weather, you can see spring is thisclose from the dock of this lakeside house in Croton.

And…did you notice there were no footprints in the snow? The photographer just took the time to look for the shot, and took it. Clever and creative always tops costly.
