The end of one year and beginning of another always jazzes me. I always find something to be surprised about, and recapping 2017 is no exception. 

Running a small business, just keeping up with the day to day you can lose perspective. Looking over the ledger of 2017’s work, it was a pretty good year!

• A record 72 of my staged properties closed, total sales volume $61.4M
• 17 more are in contract for combined list prices of $8.950M
• New website and new marketing materials were launched
• I was chosen to be a speaker at Triple Play, one of the northeasts’ largest realtor conventions

But the two things I’m the most grateful for, and the proudest of, are intertwined: 

On December 31st The Refreshed Home celebrated 10 years of being in business. Always a challenge for small businesses to get their equilibrium their first year or so. But TRH came to be just as the first waves of the 2007 financial crisis hit, not exactly boom times for design and home staging services in Westchester County.

Reflecting, what I say every year has never been truer. Success is rooted in the people I’ve come to know, and the relationships I’m so fortunate to enjoy. 

The circle of smart and generous people around me continues to widen. To the colleagues and agents who I can also count as friends-you’re just the best! To the clients who trust me with so much-it’s not ever taken for granted. Together, you are why The Refreshed Home has not only survived, but thrives. From the bottom of my heart, thank you!!
